Dr. Li Zhang is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Institute for Science, Technology and Society at the School of Philosophy, Zhejiang University. He previously served as Deputy Head of the Department of Philosophy at the same institution. Dr. Zhang has long been engaged in research and teaching in the fields of science and technology culture, science and society studies, history of science and technology, philosophy of scientific practice, and local knowledge systems. His work focuses on the interaction between scientific development and social contexts, with particular attention to the cultural and philosophical dimensions of technological advancement.
