Biomedical Engineering and Public Health: Real-Time Wearables for Disease Detection

Scope

Contributions are invited on topics including wearable sensor design for continuous physiological monitoring; fabrication and characterization of textile- and fabric-based electrodes; conductive, flexible, and biocompatible materials for skin-mounted or implantable sensing platforms; electrochemical techniques such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry for evaluating electrode performance; biomedical signal processing and artificial intelligence for physiological assessment and early disease detection; low-power embedded electronics and wireless communication for long-term monitoring; and clinical or field validation of wearable systems. Studies addressing user-centered design, long-term operational stability, comfort, robustness under real-world conditions, and integration of wearable technologies into digital health or public health infrastructures are also highly encouraged.
